It’s Time To Create A New World

Now is the time to create a new world!

There is so much contrast in the world – so much beauty along with so much ugliness. I often talk about how what you focus on expands, so pay attention to the beauty.

AND, when we see contrast or all the things we would like to see less of in this world, we can use that disgust or lack of harmony to fuel our inspiration for change.

I have seen so much love and compassion during this time and I have also witnessed so much divisiveness. We already had enough reasons to see ourselves separate from others with an ‘us vs them’ mentality. We do not need more.

And we also know that when we go through a massive transformation, it usually begins with everything falling apart or burning to the ground.

That is the way I am choosing to look at this pandemic. It has provided us an opportunity to look at how we live and question whether it is the best way. So much of what we do and how we do it is because – that’s the way we’ve always done it! The way we were taught comes from generations of beliefs and systems.

It takes huge swings of the pendulum to create change and it always begins with awareness.

Glennon Doyle’s most recent book – Untamed – calls out that awareness and shines a light on the ways of being that have been handed down for generations. She gives clear ways in which even those of us who would like to see a shift from our patriarchal system are still behaving within its confines.

And how even when we consciously do not want to be racist, it is in the air we breathe, and therefore, our subconscious is still acting accordingly. (A good example of this illustrated in the Netflix show – 100 Humans – in which you can see how we think vs how we behave can be very different.)

So, my invitation to you is to read Glennon’s new book “Untamed” and see if it creates more awareness within of the things we would like to see changed for the better.

Are you ready to create a new world?
In my opinion, there is no better time than now.

Be well, you are loved.
