Important Life Lessons

I am really limiting my time on computer, and sitting up for that matter, so I will get right to the message for January 2015.
Thank you all so very much for your messages, well wishes and prayers, know that they helped me immensely and that I am well on my way to recovery. The body never ceases to amaze me in its ability to heal and do what is best, and for me, that meant having all the muscles in my neck on down to my knees seize up to protect my brain and keep me from moving too much. I have made huge strides this week and am able to move with more fluidity, yet it is still relatively painful to sit for any length of time which I know is to keep me from overtaxing the brain. I know many of you are like me and have a difficult time in rest mode. It has given me an opportunity to up my meditation practice to an all new level. I am grateful for a loving and compassionate community of family and friends (YOU), being home from the hospital to heal in a more comfortable environment, my yoga practice which has provided me balance even when I cannot touch my toes, and an ever-expanded meditation practice, to name just a few.
