This poem was written by Indre’s best friend and is a beautiful sentiment of where she is headed in life. Like all of us, she has had some bumpy roads throughout her life, and now she feels a whole new lease on life as she follows her dream. Indre Vepstas is founder and designer of MyGoddess clothing and jewelry line. Having grown up with a love to sew and create, yet taught to believe that one should not be interested in such superficial things, Indre put her passions to the side while she followed the standard path of getting married and having children. Although she had a “good life” and tried to focus on all she was grateful for, her life was less fulfilling than she desired and she realized her marriage was emotionally abusive making her feel more and more diminished and not worthy.
In this video, Indre gives her tips on how to follow your dreams and keep putting one foot in front of the other, regardless of fear, anxiety or not feeling confident or “good enough.” And after spending years of not feeling like a goddess herself, Indre now has a global mission to save women from sex trafficking and help them see their value and recognize their inner goddess.
