Mavy Stoddard has an incredible story to share which includes the heartache, pain and sorrow of losing her beloved in the Tucson shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, and yet, she has much she expresses gratitude for including her heart giving way to forgiveness, finding love when she least expected it, her 15 year honeymoon and a set of friends who have been with her since childhood. At 76 years old, she is just getting a second wind and knows she has so much more yet to share with the world. She already knows how she and her deceased husband have inspired others, and she plans to keep sharing her talent wherever she feels called to serve. See her inspiring story and leave your thoughts, comments, and well wishes below.

I love the presence of an open heart – looks so good at every age! I enjoyed ‘meeting’ Mavy, hearing her continuing story of finding love again, choosing forgiveness, and re-discovering Life’s purpose. Thank you for the introduction!
WOW! I love both of these Goddesses and I adore your work Sheila! BY honoring Mary you have honored all of us, well done. What an amazing story, you brought me to me knees, really! Forgiving and living through something so tragic is VERY empowering, what a magical lesson for the world to learn, I am still in awe of how Mary has such grace, dignity and courage. Thank you so much for sharing!
She is one inspiring woman – in so many ways! Her past year is certainly a tribute to this, but so much of her life before that speaks to her strength and courage and “keeping the door open.” There are so many people who would choose to close up and become bitter – what a testament to living life, forgiveness and love. Thank you for sharing Mavy with us!
